ANIMAL WING RECORDS
The origins of Animal Wing Records was inspired from the necessity of cheap band rehearsal space. After cycling through a lineup of questionable roommates and growing tired of sharing cramped rooms, our landlord offered a solution: a heavily discounted space tucked away in the decommissioned animal wing of the human centrifuge building, deep in the bowels of the former Naval Air Development Center.Walking down the pitch-black hallways toward the practice space, large steel tie-down rings protruded intermittently from the concrete floor, leading to a windowless room with zero air conditioning and no heat. A massive industrial incinerator and rows of abandoned animal cages were our only neighbors.It was cold, brutal, and completely isolated - the ultimate high-volume sanctuary for loud amps, heavy riffs, and zero noise complaints.That concrete room established the DNA of how we operate today. Founded in Pennsylvania, Animal Wing Records carries that same unfiltered, industrial DIY spirit forward - pressing heavy music and physical media on our own terms.
